Privacy Policy
The short version
- We collect what you give us about your project, plus basic technical data about how you use our site.
- We share your project details with the licensed contractor we match to your project, so they can contact you and prepare your estimate. That is the entire point of our service.
- We never sell your personal information, and we don't hand it to third parties for their own marketing.
- You can opt out of our emails anytime, and you can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your information.
This summary is here to make things clear. The full policy below is what governs.
Who We Are
SEIBAG is a contractor-matching network based in Florida. We connect property managers, HOA boards, homeowners, and businesses with independent, licensed, insured Florida contractors whose scope, experience, and pricing fit each project.
SEIBAG is not a construction company and does not perform construction work. Estimates and construction contracts come directly from the licensed contractor matched to your project. What we handle is the connection: your information is the tool we use to make the right match, and this policy explains how we treat it.
In this policy, "SEIBAG," "we," and "us" refer to SEIBAG and the website seibag.com. "You" means anyone who visits our site, submits a project request, or communicates with us.
Information We Collect
We collect three kinds of information, and all three exist for one purpose: getting your project matched with the right contractor and keeping that process moving.
Project & contact information- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- The property address and details about your project: the type of work, the scope, your timeline, and your approximate budget.
- Anything else you choose to include in a form, an email, a message, or a call.
- Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit on our site, and the link that brought you here.
- General location inferred from your IP address (city or region level, not your precise location).
- This is collected through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 05.
- Copies of our email, text, and WhatsApp exchanges with you, and notes from phone calls, so we can coordinate accurately between you and your assigned contractor.
How We Use Your Information
- To match your project with the licensed, insured contractor in our network whose scope and pricing fit it best.
- To coordinate, responding to your request, scheduling site visits, and staying as your point of contact between you and the assigned contractor.
- To operate and improve the site, keep it secure, and understand which pages are useful.
- To send you service messages about your active request.
- To send occasional marketing about our network and services. You can opt out at any time, and every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe option.
- To comply with the law and to establish or defend legal claims if that ever becomes necessary.
We use your information for the purpose you gave it to us. We don't repurpose it in ways you wouldn't expect from reading this page.
Cookies & Analytics
Our site uses essential cookies that make basic functions work, and analytics cookies that help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site: which pages get read, where people arrive from, and what devices they use.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking non-essential cookies will not stop the site from working. Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because no common standard for them exists yet.
Email & Text Communications
You may receive two kinds of messages from us. Service messages are about your active request: confirmations, scheduling, updates from your assigned contractor. Marketing messages are occasional emails about our network and services.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and simply replying to tell us you'd rather not hear from us works too. We honor opt-outs promptly. Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages about a request you have in progress.
We only message you on WhatsApp or by text if you contacted us there first or asked us to.
Your Choices & Rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Show you the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or outdated.
- Delete your information from our records.
- Stop marketing communications entirely.
To make any of these requests, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will verify that the request comes from you and respond within a reasonable time. In some cases we may need to keep certain records, for example invoices or information relevant to a dispute, where the law requires or permits it; if that applies, we'll tell you.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our service, maintain accurate business records, and meet legal obligations. When it's no longer needed for any of those purposes, we delete it or de-identify it.
Security
We protect your information with reasonable administrative and technical safeguards: our site runs over encrypted connections, access to your information is limited to the people who need it to do their work, and we use reputable providers for hosting and email.
That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident ever affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Children's Privacy
Our site and services are directed to adults arranging construction and repair work. They are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Independent Contractors & Third-Party Links
It bears repeating, because it defines what we are: the contractors in our network are independent, licensed businesses. Your estimate and your construction contract come directly from them, and your relationship with them, including any information you exchange after the match, is between you and them.
Our site also links to third-party websites, for example the State of Florida's license verification portal at myfloridalicense.com, and our social media profiles. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law evolve. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page, and if a change is material, we'll post a clear notice on the site. Your continued use of our site and services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
